The Immeasurable Blessing of Adoption

As we continue to name our immeasurable blessings in Christ (v. 3), the second on the list after election (v. 4), is the blessing of adoption (v. 5 & 6).
Those verses bring up another doctrine that has suffered from the extremes of theological positions and traditions - predestination. So we must make the same commitment to simply say what the Scripture says. And without hesitation or concern, we must confess that our adoption into the family of God has been ordained by God ahead of time.
