Communications were uncertain in the first century. After this letter, it was impossible to know if Paul would ever be able to communicate with the Galatians again, face to face or otherwise. Therefore, our text this week carries the weight of final words. 

Verses 11 - 13 of chapter 6 are a final salvo against the false teachers that plagued the church. Their motivations for distorting the gospel are exposed. Why were they doing what they were doing - really? 

With the same sense of Gospel Urgency, we can expose the motivations of legalism and progressivism in our day. Why are they really distorting the gospel? Bringing this out into the open will help us avoid being taken in by them.
