By Way of Reminder - Pillars & Priorities
This message calls us back to the fundamentals of what it means to be the church in a world that desperately needs Jesus. Rather than getting caught up in resolutions that fade by February, we're invited to review our commitments and remember our true mission: making disciples. Drawing from Matthew 28 and Acts 2, we're reminded that discipleship isn't trendy church-speak but the very commission Jesus gave us. The early church devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer in small, intimate gatherings in homes, and God blessed this approach with daily growth. We discover that authentic transformation happens not in consuming religious content but in participative environments where we know and are known. The call to excellence, simplicity, and integrity becomes our guiding frameworkâdoing all things for God's glory with single-minded passion, free from double standards and compartmentalized faith. This isn't about perfection but faithfulness, about being scripture-saturated, spirit-filled, praying people who refuse to settle for surface-level Christianity. As we embrace group ministry and spiritual disciplines, we tap into the very power that transformed the ancient world, trusting God for a double portion of His blessing as we pursue the next right thing together.
