Project 246

Who are we?

We are first and foremost, disciples.  We are more than church members or attenders.  We are believers.  We are disciples of Jesus Christ.

What are we doing?

We are disciples making disciples.  In obedience to commands of Christ in the Great Commission to go and make disciples, and out of love for our fellow man, we seek to share the gospel with everyone who needs it.

Why are we doing it?

Simply, we do what we do because we love Jesus and we want other people to love Him too.

What is our role?

In one simple sentence - we are building a church that follows the biblical pattern of the New Testament church.  Personally, we all have to answer that question as well.  Where do you fit it?  What is your critical role?  That's where Project 246 comes in.

We are calling this Project 246, after Acts 2:46 and the pattern we see there.  "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house..."  Within that pattern, community groups provide opportunities to make connections and build relationships with those who are new to the faith and/or new to our church family.

We have several different groups that meet at different times and places throughout the week in order to minister to a broader base of people.  The groups serve to strengthen our commitment to the Word of God, prayer, fellowship, service, and missions.  Also, they build a sense of priority, loyalty and accountability within the body.
