The Immeasurable Blessing of Redemption

Ephesians 1:7 - 10 names the third immeasurable blessing we have in Christ - redemption. Redemption is pretty straight forward. All evangelical traditions appear to agree on what it is and how it is accomplished. Whatever confusion exists about redemption is not sourced in an academic debate about divine activity from the reformation. It is sourced in false teaching from the first century when Ephesians was written.
The message was not Christ crucified, but a gospel of enlightenment, of secret knowledge through which a person may attain to the divine. In short, there was no need for atonement. We will address this today as we dive deeply into the immeasurable blessing of redemption.
