An Argument for Christian Nationalism

Mar 1, 2026    Ben Gibson

Please don’t think I am advocating for a political point of view. I would bet that is what you thought when you read the title of the message. I am not.

The intention is not to make you angry, although I assume the risk. It is not even to call you to action. Rather, I want to challenge a growing, destructive perspective. I want us to listen to what is being said about Christian influence, and weigh it against the immutable truth of Scripture and to the character of Christ. With apostolic resolve, I want us to seek that which is good, right and beautiful in God’s sight.

Beyond that, we need to change our target. To do so, we should be promoting a world in which the Kingdom of Christ has come to the earth, just as it is in Heaven. We need to be championing a world in which His will is done on earth as it is in Heaven. We should be crusading for a world in which every sphere of authority - civil, social, economic, family, church - has been liberated from the usurper and brought under the Lordship of Christ.
