Jesus came to reunite me and you in the family of God, to restore our union with the Father, the same kind of union that He Himself enjoys within the Trinity (John 17:22 & 23). It is union with each other as brothers and sisters. It is union with Him as bothers and sisters. It is union with God as Father.
Today we will be in Hebrews 2:9 - 13 again, specifically looking at how Jesus accomplished the recovery of our family identity and the guarantee we have that it has been accomplished.
