The Word & Our Suffering

So far, we have been invited to see the hardship and suffering we endure for Christ through the perspective of sovereign grace and hope in the gospel. God’s purposes in allowing adversity and trouble are both gracious and kind. Therefore, we ground our hope in all the promises contained in the gospel when we suffer.
