A Better Rest - Part 2

Last Sunday, we spent a great deal of time digging in to the historical significance of the events referenced in Hebrews 3:7 - 19. The rebellion, the day of testing, the generation that provoked God, take us back to the Exodus. They remind us that an entire generation failed to enter God's promised rest because of unbelief.

According to the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:11, these things happened to them as an example and they were written down for our instruction. God wants us to learn from their history so we can avoid the perils of unbelief. He wants us to continue in our faith and enter the better rest of Heaven.
