Joy

There is so much comfort to be found in the practice of pausing to read, pray, and reflect upon the scriptures during this Advent season. The third Sunday of Advent gives us the opportunity to prepare in our hearts with joy.  This week we pray that the joy of the Lord would be evident in our hearts, our homes and in our worship. May the Holy Spirit transform the days leading up to Christmas into a time of joyful anticipation as we celebrate the arrival of our Savior. Our teaching about joy this week will be from Luke 2:1 - 20.
