January 2023 Updates:
Josh Provow, New Life Shumen, Shumen, Bulgaria: Praise God for the 12 Operation Christmas Child parties and the over 600 people who heard the Gospel! Ask God to richly bless those seeds that were planted during the events. Pray for Josh as he continues the work in both Shumen and Novi Pazar, and pray for more workers in Bulgaria! Pray for the Provow children as they help Josh in ministry and for Josh as he and his children try to balance everyday responsibilities and sharing the Gospel with others.
David and Mimi Reeves, St. Sebastien Church, Nantes, France: Praise the Lord that the Reeves were able to spend Christmas with David’s family in Kentucky. Praise the Lord that Mimi has finished her university studies! Pray for Yenga and Wivine, the couple who would like to be baptized and married soon—ask God to move their hearts toward Him more and more! Pray for the many young friends and couples that have recently begun attending church services and those who have started their walk with Jesus as Savior: Noellle and Jo, Bastien and Tanya, Yenga and Wivine; Dominga, Ishame, Adnane, Paul, Baptiste, Valentine, Ansou, Toki, and Chris. Lift these names before the Lord!
Trif and Vanya Trifonov, New Life Varna, Varna, Bulgaria: The Trifonovs are praising God for the Ukrainians who have begun to attend church services from the Bulgarian language classes. Pray that God will open their hearts and eyes to their need for Him. Praise God for the thriving groups of Bible study that are taking place within their congregation! Pray that church members will have boldness and wisdom to share their faith and invite people to “taste new life” at their church. Ask God to help those who resume work on the elevator and the outside of the church building. Pray that God will bless an upcoming training for small group Bible study leaders this month.
