Danger To Avoid

For now, the greatest threat to the church and to us as believers is dealt with in Romans 16:17 - 20. What may seem like a random thought in the middle of a list of Paul’s ministry companions is a warning about those who would undermine the truth and harm the church. If we are not paying attention, we won’t see it coming, let alone see it for what it is and be able to respond to it. Our text identifies this threat, exposes it for what it is, and provides practical steps to take for our protection.
