Our Core Values

Core Values

Prayer Dependent

In humble dependence upon the Lord, we commit to be a praying people.  We therefore encourage the consistent practice of this spiritual discipline, because we believe it is essential for our spiritual well-being.  It is the means through which we actively seek and submit to the will of God.

Authority of Scripture

Because we believe that the Bible is breathed-out by God, free of error and completely dependable, we commit to the Word of God as our rule of faith and practice.  We agree therefore, that as we teach and preach, we will declare the whole counsel of God’s Word.  And because we are committed to its truth, we will not alter it in any way, or for any reason.

Christ-Centered & Gospel Driven

Christ Jesus our Lord is the Cornerstone upon which His church is built.  Hence, we commit to advance His kingdom and to do all for His glory.  Having received His grace through the gospel, we are motivated to proclaim the gospel to all nations.  We purpose to be more Christ-like and to lead others to do the same because we love Him with all our hearts, minds and souls.

Holy Spirit Filled

The Holy Spirit, who is the Promise of the Father, is given to all who repent and believe the gospel.  It is He who transforms us, affirms our faith and gives us the desire and ability to follow Jesus.  We commit to live lives that are characterized by the fruit of Spirit.  We will follow His leadership and serve according to the gifts He has given us, believing that through Him we are equipped for every good work.

Equipping the Saints

Christ Jesus our Lord is the Cornerstone upon which His church is built.  Hence, we commit to advance His kingdom and to do all for His glory.  Having received His grace through the gospel, we are motivated to proclaim the gospel to all nations.  We purpose to be more Christ-like and to lead others to do the same because we love Him with all our hearts, minds and souls.

Loving Relationships

Christ has commanded us to love one another, just as He has loved us.  Accordingly, we will be kind and tenderhearted toward one another, forgiving one another just as God through Christ has forgiven us.  We will bear one another’s burdens and demonstrate our love by serving others and resolving conflict biblically.
